Conveyor belts

Belts for carrying grapes and disposing of stems, made entirely of stainless steel, with non-toxic flat PVC slatted belts with Spondaflex sides that are adjustable in height, and complete with hoppers. They are particularly quick and easy to clean and service. All Della Toffola belts are complete with electric systems protected to IP 65 and comply with current CE safety standards.

Grape sorting lines

The new grape sorting lines are used to facilitate the manual grape sorting procedure required before the grapes are crushed or pressed: this has become increasingly necessary and important to companies seeking to achieve the best quality for their wines. These lines are particularly suitable for: 

• automatically spreading and levelling the grapes on a flat surface so that it is quicker and easier for operators on either side of the line to complete the manual sorting procedure;
•  manually separating the mass of grapes from fragments of foliage, branches, bunches with grapes that are damaged or show signs of anthracnose, stalks, etc.

The lines consist of the following units, in the following order:

• a vibrating metering device for draining off and collecting any free-flowing must;
• a sorting table with a non-toxic rubber conveyor belt, where operators on either side can quickly and easily sort through the grapes by hand;  
• an elevator belt that is adjustable in height and is complete with a hopper for collecting the grapes coming from the sorting table.

A destemmer-crusher or a press can be placed at the end of these lines for the subsequent extraction of the must.
